Reflexology is a holistic complementary therapy which focuses on activating the natural healing powers of the body. The healing technique is based on the principle that certain areas of the feet are linked to other areas of the body. By applying pressure to these reflexes it helps alleviate symptoms in the corresponding area and enable uninterrupted energy flow. This helps to restore the physical and emotional well-being of the client and bring their body back into balance.  As a certified Clinical Reflexologist, I can help to alleviate the symptoms of a variety of disorders including stress and anxiety, hormonal imbalances and chronic pain among other ailments.

During the treatment, which typically lasts 1hr I use my hands to apply pressure to certain parts of the feet. Clients tend to experience a feeling of deep relaxation or possibly a slight tingling sensation. Generally the effects of reflexology can be felt within minutes of the treatment.  However, if you are looking for long-lasting effects it is best to aim for regular sessions.
